Question Sir Terry Leahy

The CEO of Tesco will be taking part in an online interview for the FT newspaper on 6th June at 15:30. You can submit your questions to him here.

My question was "Given that your market share is now 31.1% how do you justify increasing your sales area by 2 million sqft in the next year (as stated in your annual report)? Should you be referred to the Monoplies Commission?"

We'll have to wait until next Tuesday to find out whether he gets asked the question!

  • The Lubbock Trust secretary writes to Sir Terry Leahy, asking for the withdrawl from sale on the Tesco website of Michael Barrymore's new book, 'Awight Now', Setting The Record Straight, by Michael Barrymore, published by Simon & Shulster. Stuart Lubbock suffered horrific injuries & was found dead at Michael Barrymore's home in 2001. Stuart Lubbock is featured in the new Barrymore book. Stuart's name is even being used to promote the book. Tesco should be ashamed at themselves. Tony Cowell Michael Barrymore publicist has recently spit from acting for Michael Barrymore.
